Support & contact
Before you write
Most reports are resolved faster if you check three things first. They take about a minute between them:
- Troubleshooting covers the common failures — a module that will not enable, a license that will not activate, a filter that returns nothing.
- Deactivate every other plugin and re-test. A conflict with another extension is the single most common cause, and knowing whether the problem survives a clean slate halves the diagnosis.
- Check your versions against Requirements. WordPress 6.2, WooCommerce 8.0 and PHP 8.1 are floors, not suggestions.
Where to write
| What you need | Where |
|---|---|
| A bug, a question, or help configuring a module | empora.aoneahsan.com/support |
| Arranging a paid plan | empora.aoneahsan.com/support — see Plans |
| Anything about the author's other work | aoneahsan.com |
Empora is not yet listed on WordPress.org, so there is no WordPress.org support forum for it. The contact form above is the channel.
What to include
A report with these six things can usually be answered in one reply. A report without them takes three.
- What you did, in the order you did it.
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- The module key — the short identifier under the module name in
the module reference, such as
product_filtersorgift_cards. - Versions: WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, and Empora. All four are on WooCommerce → Status.
- Any error text, copied rather than described, including anything in your
debug.log. - Whether it survives deactivating other plugins.
Screenshots help for anything visual. For a checkout or pricing problem, the product and the exact cart contents that trigger it are worth more than a screenshot.
Reporting a security issue
Do not open a public report for a security problem. Write to the contact form above with the details and give it time to be fixed before you disclose it anywhere. A security report is answered ahead of everything else.
Response times
Empora is built and maintained by one developer, Ahsan Mahmood. Replies are usually within a couple of working days. There is no support SLA on any plan today; if you need a contractual response time, say so when you write and it can be discussed.
